About Course Creator Frank S. Ring

Hello, I’m Frank Ring, father, teacher, and author of four books about using walking to get in shape and stay in shape.

I designed this course based on the four walking themed books I've written and with your needs in mind.

In 2016, I began walking as a way to rehab from a back injury and, to his great surprise, fell in love with walking. I’ve combined his love of walking with the website WalkingforHealthandFitness.com

My first publication Walking for Health and Fitness: The Easiest Way to Get in Shape and Stay in Shape, explains the benefits of the overall walking experience.

“I wanted to share my story and knowledge and inspire others. Walking has brought me back to good health and fitness. I know I can teach others about this great fitness activity.”

I credit walking with reenergizing my love of teaching and my commitment to staying in great physical condition. “I believe walking is the easiest way to get and stay in shape. This is the first of several books I plan to publish which centers around the health benefits of walking.”

My second book, Fitness Walking and Bodyweight Exercises highlight the benefits of bodyweight exercises and why doing fitness exercises and building muscle, especially as we age, is important.
